Unprecedented High-quality. Trusted High-performance. The WV-NS202 PTZ network surveillance camera is at last available from Panasonic.
Panasonic, the leader in the surveillance field, launches a PTZ network camera ahead of its time. Featuring the Super Dynamic III and progressive output, Panasonic has implemented unrivalled high-sensitivity and high-resolution image reproduction. Thoroughly reliable, featuring image backup functions and heavy-duty mechanisms and excellent cost effectiveness. The WV-NS202, designed for professional surveillance applications, is a new PTZ network camera that is worthy of the leading role.
Pixel Based x128 Dynamic Range
The
Super Dynamic III performs gradation compensation of contrast on the pixel base, thus ensuring faithful reproduction of subjects in any area and position. Furthermore, it achieves the 128x dynamic range by using images taken at 1/60-second and 1/8,000-second shutter speeds.22x Zoom Lens
A 22x optical zoom lens with a focal distance f of 3.79-83.4mm is standard equipment. When combined with the 10x electronic zooming function, zooming up to 220x is possible, enabling high-power zooming surveillance and the capture of subjects at long distances.
Progressive Output
Progressive output is adopted for smooth reproduction of moving subjects. Compared to interlaced output, images of moving people and passing cars become smooth and easy to see.
Minimum illumination of 0.7 lux
The WV-NS202 features a minimum illumination of 0.7 lux (0.07 fc). Surveillance is possible with color images even after it becomes dark. The use of electronic sensitivity increases functionality up to 32x, ensuring use for night surveillance.
Power Over Ethernet
The camera employs PoE (Power over Ethernet) IEEE802.3af, which supplies power and transmits images through a single cable. No separate power supply is required. All you have to do is just connect the cable to the PoE switch or the PoE adapter.
One-touch Fitting Mechanism
Just align the recessed part of the main unit to the protruding part of the attached mounting bracket and rotate the main unit clockwise, ensuring the fit. (Be sure to install the safety wire on the main unit.)
Various settings can be adjusted while monitoring the camera image.
Various settings, such as white balance, intensified sensitivity ON/OFF and shutter speeds can be adjusted while monitoring the actual camera image.
Versatile installations: Dealing with various applications
Various optional fixtures are available, ensuring versatile installation, such as direct fixing on the ceiling, embedding in the ceiling and wall mounting. Furthermore, the use of the black dome cover that comes with the fixture conceals the shooting direction of the camera.
MPEG-4/JPEG dual streaming
MPEG-4 and JPEG Images can be output simultaneously. For example, high video reproducibility MPEG-4 monitoring and high-resolution JPEG recording can operate simultaneously. Full-rate output transmission of up to 30 ips is possible with either MPEG-4 or JPEG image output. Either MPEG-4 or JPEG can be selected according to purpose, ensuring highly efficient operations.
Featuring an SD memory card slot
Upon the occurrence of network interference, surveillance images are automatically backed up in an SD memory card. Even if the network is interrupted, surveillance images can be checked later. Manual recording on the SD memory card is also possible. Voice exchange also possible
2 way audio feature.
Sound collection is possible by connecting a microphone for checking the peripheral status of the camera through voice and images. Furthermore, the provision of audio output enables voice public-addressing from a PC by connecting an amplifier-integrated loudspeaker. (Voice alternates between transmission and reception.) (ITU-T Standard G.726 Voice Function)
Motion Detection:
When any movement occurs within the camera image, the movement is detected and an alarm signal is transmitted.
FTP server transfer:
JPEG images can be transferred to a pre-designated FTP server.
Alarm mail notification:
E-mails can be transmitted to up to four mail addresses that are registered in advance
• Images from up to 16 cameras can be displayed on a multi-screen display. A 4-split screen display is also possible.
• In the 4-split screen display mode, panning and tilting of the respective cameras is possible.
• It is also possible to enlarge a monitoring image to fill the PC screen.
• A click on the screen ensures the use of the mouse wheel for zooming in and out, panning or tilting operations.
Robust mechanism
Heavy-duty materials are employed for rotating sections. Furthermore, stable operation is ensured over a long period, thanks to an original mechanism developed with our extensive know-how, resulting in unsurpassed reliability, a prerequisite for high-level surveillance cameras.
High-speed rotation of 300 degrees/sec.
The camera rotates 350 degrees horizontally at a rotation speed of 300 degrees/sec., max. (when moving between preset positions), enabling the quick capturing of subjects. Rotation is also quick vertically; up to 100 degrees/sec.
Presetting of up to 64 positions
Up to 64 camera positions can be registered in advance. The positions can be selected through simple operations.
Auto Tracking
Panning and tilting are automatically executed so that a moving subject can be centered on the screen.
Privacy Zone Masking
When windows, etc., of private homes exist within the surveillance area, it is possible to mask those portions of the image.Up to eight masks can be applied.
Versatile alarm functions
Operations to deal with alarms, including alarms from external sensors, VMD camera alarms, as well as command alarms from other devices can be set in advance.
360-degree map-shot function
When still images of eight locations in a 360 degree arc are displayed as thumbnails and an image is clicked, the camera is directed to that position and displays a live image of the location.
